Women's Group

Women have traditionally played a vital role in the Church, historically as the Women's Missionary Society the womens group was insturmental in raising the initial downpayment to purchase the current property on which the church (and pastors manse - since torn down) has been located since 1922.

The Women's Group ceased formal membership as a member of the national Women's Missionary Society a number of years ago. The Women's Group continues to meet monthly and undertakes fundraising projects to assist various mission projects and projects of the local church.  In these pictures we see the women of the church present a Christmas parable-skit on the need to remember the "Great Commission", that is to become spreaders of the Gospel of Christ.
