The Chinese Presbyterian Church, in Victoria is part of

"Over 1,000 communities of faith worshipping in more than 10 languages. Where people know and care for each other. Where each has opportunity to use the gifts provided by God for service to others in the name of Jesus Christ. The national and regional systems act as servants for local congregations; they act to strengthen and extend the life and work of the whole church.

Presbyterians attempt to remain faithful to the God who appeared to Moses in the burning bush; the God who sees the suffering of his people and who calls them into freedom, peace and wholeness." The Board of Congregational Life, Ontario circa 1987
